r_jaune.gif (569 octets)Escofier Technologie was founded in 1922 by Louis Escofier, a native of Le Creusot in Burgundy, who decided to make his fortune in Paris. Louis Escofier's passion was mechanical engineering and he was drawn to unusual machine tools. He bought a thread grinding machine and, having become familiar with rolling technology, designed new rolling machines. In 1945 he delivered his first 4 rolling machines to Renault.
