Tube finning is a cold forming process for generating fins on tubes.

A specific technology with 3 or 4 shafts assembled with disks is used for cold forming the tubes.

The finned tubes are primarily dedicated to heat exchangers. The fins ease the heat exchange between internal circulating fluid and the outside.
