GFV roll finishing machine

Machine with a vertical work axis adapted to roll-finish the gear profiles, for either standard steel or sintered part densification.

Main Characteristics

• A cast iron base assures optimal rigidity of the machine
• High accuracy of carriage movement as a result of the ground guideways
• Spindles are directly rotated by synchronous servomotors
• Two carriers are asymmetrical moved by a single hydraulic cylinder
• All the peripheral units (coolant, pneumatic, hydraulic units and electrical panel) are mounted on a unique machine base : very compact foot print and quick easy ‘plug & play’ installation (no overhead cableways)
• The vertical work axis design enables a easy production changeover (less than 5 minutes) and avoids to turn the orientation of the gear between loading and rolling operations
• Easy taper and helix adjustment as a result of dial indicators - Machine is supplied with an internal gantry (rotary arm with two positions) for loading the work piece into the rolling station
• The machine is perfectly adapted to fit with many types of material handling solutions for a quick and easy integration in your production line: conveyors, pallets, buffers, etc.
